The book of Esther seems to be everywhere right now, and while we are hardly the first women’s ministry to plan an event with an Esther theme, we believe there is a unique message for us in the time we are living. Come join us to experience God’s timely message for His daughters now. We believe it will leave you feeling loved and encouraged.

Alexa’s passion is creating space to encounter the love and freedom of Jesus Christ. She fully believes that one touch from him can change a life forever. It is a vison, that comes with personal experience. As a daughter of a pastor, she was asked to attend a youth conference. For the last 18 years, Alexa has helped women and youth, in both Canada and the United States, walk in their full identity in Christ. Using the foundation of being seen and known by Jesus, she has reached thousands of people. Currently serving on the True Reflections Ministry Senior Leadership Team and Co-Author of Hope Fulfilled, a devotional, she and her team dedicate space for women to encounter the love of the Father.

Lindsey Snell
The daughter of a pastor and church planter, Lindsey was heavily involved in all aspects of ministry. She received her degree in Youth Leadership from Rocky Mountain Bible College in Alberta, Canada. She continued her experience volunteering with high school students in British Columbia, Canada. During her time there, she was made the Youth Pastor of a church group of 150 students until the Lord called her to California. For almost two decades, she has been speaking at hundreds of events including women’s retreats and recovery programs.
Lindsey knows that one encounter with Jesus can change a person’s life and she loves partnering with Holy Spirit to see other people’s relationship with Him deepened through their own experiences. She currently lives in Boise, Idaho, works on the Senior Leadership Team of True Reflections Ministry, and co-authored the devotional “Hope Fulfilled.” She is excited to see women’s lives transformed through a deeper relationship with God.
The Day Retreat is set up to allow for women to encounter God’s love while connecting with others, experiencing His beauty, and leaving them full of joy and refreshing. Each of these vendors play a key role in bringing this experience to life and setting the atmosphere of the day.

As the wife of an educator, I have personal experience with the need to cover our children, teachers, and schools in prayer. The daily challenges faced on campuses seem impossible to overcome. But we know the truth as Christians, that where sin abounds grace abounds more.
Over five years ago, God gave me the gift of becoming guardian of my nephew. Never having children of my own, this was the opportunity of a lifetime to love, nurture and pour into a child. My most favorite and important task was to impart the things of God and introduce the person of Jesus not only a Savior and Lord but also as Friend.
This year I am happy to announce the recipients of the 10% Give Back are organizations that are doing the above and more. Your participation in The Chosen by Love Day Retreat will sew seeds in the lives of people you will never know this side of heaven but will truly have eternal rewards.
Children’s Champions is a non-profit organization that supports children’s leaders within the churches with an emphasis on children evangelism. Through hands-on training, they equip and teach children’s leaders how to run and establish a strong children’s ministry. Over one thousand leaders in the Central Valley and Mexico have been trained. Their seminars focus on teaching leaders how to bring salvation to children, how to teach bible stories in an exciting way, and in a safe environment. They are preparing the hearts of our future leaders of this world for Christ.
